Radio Caroline broadcasts on AM 1368
50 years since the UK Government stamped down on radio pirates - and Manx Radio's celebrating by commandeering Radio Caroline's "MV Ross Revenge".
Legislation to stop the practice sparked a constitutional row between Tynwald and Whitehall, and for four years, Radio Caroline North operated just off Ramsey.
It enjoyed a large audience, and gave the Isle of Man a publicity boost.
Manx Radio Presenter, Chris Williams, is broadcasting 'Carnaby Street' live from the ship in the south of England today (SAT).
Radio Caroline is on Manx Radio's AM 1368 frequency until Tuesday evening.
Chris Williams Breakfast Show is also being broadcast live on-board on Manx Radio FM on Monday morning - there'll also be a special documentary broadcast at 6pm.
