Dave Hogg will ride 2000km from Pisa to Peel
A cyclist from the Isle of Man is preparing to take on an epic challenge to raise money for charity.
Dave Hogg will ride more than 2,000 kilometres from Pisa to Peel next month in aid of Sight Matters.
Living with Type 1 diabetes he chose the charity because the condition can affect eyesight by damaging the tiny blood vessels in the retina.
Dave told Manx Radio the journey itself will be demanding but managing his diabetes while on the road will be an added challenge:
He's aiming to raise £5,000 and you can find out more about the challenge HERE.
