360 degree dome to present educational shows
A planetarium is open in the Isle of Man; presenting educational and escapist 3D shows within a 360 degree dome.
There are less than 1,000 cinematic theatres like this built worldwide.
Based at the Nunnery in Douglas, The Dome is intended to provide new perspective in astronomical, celestial, and Dark Sky research.
Members from the Isle of Man Mathematical Society were given a tour last week.
Founder Adrian Bell explains how it can be used:
Figures show cost of works at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital
Section of former Ramsey Bakery site could become a motorcycle shop
Cyber security event to take place later this year
Warning after drone reported flying over farm
French tall ship returns to the sea
