Proposal includes a sports pitch and an outdoor teaching space
Planning permission is being sought for a new play area for children in Foxdale at the back of the primary school.
The proposal by the Department of Education, Sport and Culture is for a new sports playing field and an outdoor teaching area.
'Grassy mounds' could also be installed as part of the redevelopment but the existing climbing frame and play area will be kept.
A summer house and flag pole are planned to be built and a path could run round the perimeter of the sports pitch.
The application is currently pending consideration and can be found here.
