Callister takes over as new chair of planning committee
The newly appointed chair of the Island's planning committee wants to see the planning process sped up.
Onchan MHK Rob Callister takes over the role from Douglas North member David Ashford who was recently named chair of the housing and communities board.
The committee reviews around 20 percent of planning applications submitted on the Island.
