Treasury minister suggests tweaks at a 'later date'
The way self-employed people submit their tax and national insurance payments could change following the Covid-19 pandemic, the treasury minister has suggested.
Many of the island’s smallest businesses were originally deemed ineligible for government support during the crisis - some because of the way such payments have or haven’t been paid.
Alf Cannan says whilst the terms of the schemes are now being refined, it could pave the way for more alterations further down the line:
