Ramsey tops list of areas at risk of flooding
Tens of millions of pounds will be spent to cut the risk of flooding around Manx rivers.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle confirmed plans are in the process of being drawn up, with Ramsey at the top of a list of places needing action.
A harbour flood wall and work protecting the area against water from The Sulby River and other water courses are being examined.
However, Mr Quayle admits not all areas can be protected:
