Forty five cabins could be erected between May-September 2022
There are plans to create temporary summer accommodation in Peel.
Duke Events Ltd wants to create 'Peel Sunset Village' on the site of the former swimming pool at the end of the prom.
It will consist of 45 cabins styled to look like beach huts and a marquee for communal events that could be used between 12th May and 26th September next year.
Each twin-bed cabin would be the same as those used to create the pop-up village in TT 2019.
Duke Events says Peel's commissioners are on board with the plans, and income generated would be reinvested in the area's long-term future.
