Four treatment rooms for patients planned
Planning approval is being sought for a new dental surgery in the old Charles Alexander jewellers on Strand Street in Douglas.
Strand Street Dental would feature four new treatment rooms, a wheelchair accessible lift, toilets and a decontamination room for staff.
An application statement says 'consideration' will be given to air source heat pumps and solar panels which would also be integrated into the development.
It adds access to the building would be 'improved' by installing an automated sliding door, passageways and doors would be widened and a ground floor disabled toilet would also be included.
The application is currently pending consideration and can be found here.
