
The company that owns Shoprite has put in for planning for an ambitious business park opposite the airport.
Andrew Thomas, chief executive of Isle of Man Enterprises Group, says the firm has a history of pushing out with development in " downtimes". They are continuing with that philosophy.
Approval in principle is being sought for the development of a business park comprising land and buildings for new technology companies and office accommodation for corporate headquarters, hotel, internal access roads.
