DESC wants to improve Victoria Road site
Children at a primary school in Castletown could have their playground revamped if planners give the go-ahead.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture has submitted an application to create a new play area at Victoria Road.
If approved it would include chill out wildlife zones, mounds and a trench, a climbing nest, wooden boats, amphitheatre style seating, a sand pit and a climbing frame.
The application (23/00010/B), for the site on School Lane, is currently pending consideration.
