Hopes for shepherd huts and bell tents in Wallaby Woods
A Sulby couple is seeking planning consent to develop a small scale, sustainable glamping site on land near the village.
The area, known as Wallaby Woods, is located on the West Kella Back Road.
The proposal is for a private 'glampsite' comprising a mixture of shepherd huts and bell tents.
A maximum of three families would be accommodated at any one time.
Renewable energy sources, including solar panels would be reduce energy costs and environmental impact.
