Event will be held the weekend following motorsport fortnight
Plans to host a festival in Noble's Park in Douglas following the Isle of Man TT are being considered.
ELS Group wants to run the event on the fan park site over the weekend of 20-22 June.
Pitched as 'a family-friendly festival featuring live performances, children’s entertainment and local vendors' it would be held in the trackside area.
The idea was put before Douglas Council's Regeneration and Community Committee in November and will be considered by the local authority tomorrow (8 November).
The Department for Enterprise occupies the park during the motorsport festival and the scheme would allow ELS to take over the facilities that are already in place.
It's intended the event will wrap-up at 9pm each evening to ensure that noise and disturbance to residents is minimised.
