DEFA confirms forest management plans for 2020
Around 40,000 trees will be planted on the Island in the New Year.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture will do so as part of its ongoing forest management plan.
Since 2015, 62,000 trees have been felled across DEFA's estates, while 125,000 have been planted.
The chief minister recently announced plans to plant a tree for every Manx resident by 2024.
