Beach Buddies keen to tackle wooded areas monthly
Group sessions to remove rubbish from the Island's plantations are to become a regular event.
Beach Buddies is holding its first clean at South Barrule on Sunday (3 Jan).
It's free to take part, with those interested asked to meet in the plantation's car park at 10.30am, with all equipment provided.
'Walk and Clean' is part of the Festive Walking Festival, but Bill Dale from the charity says he's keen to take on other parts of the Island as well:

Plantation wood, telegraph poles and Satnav to be discussed in the House of Keys
Immigration changes designed to stop exploitation by 'bad eggs'
Contingency budget for horse tram tracks 'significantly increased'
Nursery group wants to 'bridge the gap' for families of two-year-olds
