New group planning regular clean-up events
There's a new group aiming to tackle the Island's litter.
Plastic Busters has been cleaning up various stretches of road and areas of countryside.
It's an organisation aiming to clear the Island's roads and countryside of litter and debris.
Most recently - on 22 February, they picked up over 100 pounds of waste near the Quarterbridge in Douglas.
Jaime Amoedo started the group back in December after witnessing the debris first-hand, as he aimed to walk every road in the Isle of Man.
He says Bill Dale's Beach Buddies organisation is an inspiration, and considers the efforts of both groups to be collaborative.
Listen to Jaime's full interview, with Manx Radio's Lewis Foster below.
