The auctioneer who sold the Isle of Man's first ever number plate is not surprised it raised over £100,000.
Managing director of Murray's Auctions Murray Keefe sold 'MN1' at an auction at the Mount Murray Hotel on Friday.
The historic item dated from 1906 and was part of the estate of the late John Moore.
It was snapped up by an anonymous buyer and all the money will go to charity.
