Girlguiding IoM 'privileged' to be a part of it
A number of beacons will be lit around the Island this evening to mark the Queen Our Lord of Mann's Platinum Jubilee.
It marks the start of her Majesty's celebrations of 70-years on the throne.
Girlguiding Isle of Man will be lighting one on Douglas Head.

Thousands of the beacons will be lit across Britain and the Commonwealth tonight at 9:45pm.
The events on the Isle of Man tonight are as follows:
St Ninian's Church – Douglas Borough Council – public event
Raglan Pier, Port Erin– RNLI – private event
Ballavell Farm, Ballasalla – IOM Young Farmers – private event
Douglas Head – Girl Guides – private event
Slieau Lhost – Civil Defence – private event
