It would operate on weekdays during term time only
A playgroup is seeking permission to use a room in a church as a childcare facility.
Willow and Waves has applied for permission to open the facility at Peel Methodist Church Guild Room.
In its application, it says it will operate Monday to Friday during term time only with a maximum of 16 children at a time.
It adds that there are already 25 children on the waiting list and ready to start immediately.
The applicants also contacted Highways and Services to advise on traffic and parking; however, they are yet to receive any feedback.
They've also written to the neighbours whose gardens back on to the outdoor area to assure them the children won't disturb them.
The application also points out that the church guild room already hosts clubs and events and those do not appear to cause parking or congestion issues.
