Reassurance from MUA
An experienced pilates instructor says she’s concerned about the future of what she calls ‘the spiritual home of Pilates.
The former internment camp at Knockaloe, the largest of its kind during World War One, is being considered as a potential site for a new sewerage treatment plant.
German physical trainer Joseph Pilates was interned at the camp, where he developed his now famous method of physical fitness.
Mo Sherring’s message to the Manx Utilities Authority, which has earmarked Knockaloe as a possible site for the plant, was simple.
Meanwhile, MUA chairman Dr Alex Allinson has offered this reassurance:
Road closures in place following incident in Hillberry area
£1 million National AI Office launched to coordinate artificial intelligence policy and adoption
Confusion over cause of issues for IOM residents selling on Vinted
Peel Commissioners first to announce rate increases
Price of cod on par with sirloin steak, says chippy owner
