A regular visitor to the Isle of Man is due to arrive on its shores today (Friday).
The coastal pleasure cruiser Balmoral is in her 25th year of sailings, and passengers climbing aboard this weekend will enjoy updated onboard facilities.
She sails to the Calf of Man and back this afternoon, and tomorrow there will be a round the Island non-stop cruise.
Balmoral is owned by a charity, whose supporters have begun a public appeal to raise £350,000 to keep her and the paddle steamer Waverley afloat.
Dick Clague of operating company Waverley Excursions says a quarter of a century of visits to the Isle of Man is quite an achievement (listen to audio file below):
