Rapidly rising interest rates are causing anxiety for home buyers with mortgages costing more and the range of products available falling.
Uncertainty in the market has led to most lenders withdrawing 95 per cent mortgages offers and fixed rate deals.
Despite the rising costs an Island mortgage broker says the vast majority of local providers remain active in the market, and the issue of mortgage offers being withdrawn from prospective buyers by lenders hasn't been prevalent here.
