
The Crossag court case, the village plan, the possible use of Turkeylands for burying bottom ash from the incinerator, and the proposed Douglas Road roundabout will all be on the agenda at a public meeting in Ballasalla on Monday evening.
'Ballasalla 2009' has been organised by the local residents' association, and committee member Eddie Power says a wide-ranging debate is expected (play attached audio file):

Plans by JG Kelly Homes Limited to build 250 homes at Crossag Farm were turned down, mainly because of the shortage of facilities which would be needed by the new residents.
