Charity event to raise money for Peel RNLI
A rural highlight of the Manx winter gets underway this morning (Saturday 19th).
A ploughing match will take place at Ballagyr Farm, close to Sunset Lakes outside Peel, starting at 10.30am.
All are welcome to watch vintage and modern tractors and the ever-popular horses in action and hot refreshments will be available.
A concert and prize presentations will take place at St John’s Methodist Hall from 7.30pm, hosted by Dot Tilbury MBE.
It's been organised by the Cronk y Voddy Ploughing Society, all proceeds will go to the Peel RNLI.
