No more talks with CWU until after Christmas
The Chief Executive of the Post Office says the board worked well into last night to put forward an enhanced proposal which they believed could have averted strike action today (Fri)
Simon Kneen was speaking after talks broke down yesterday (Thurs) without any resolution to the dispute.
The CWU's Terry Pullinger had to return to the UK yesterday evening, effectively bringing negotiations to an end for now.
Speaking on Mandate this morning (Fri) Mr Kneen explained more about the deal currently on the table.
