Claims CWU and PO Board will continue talks on Wednesday
Post Office Chair Julie Edge MHK says talks between the board and the CWU HAVE been taking place.
With just two days to go before proposed strike action by CWU workers, there was confusion yesterday (Mon 10th), after the Communication Workers' Union stated that the IOM Post Office had rejected an offer for "meaningful" talks ahead of proposed industrial action this week.
Later, the Post Office Board stated that talks HAD been taking place.
Appearing live on this morning's (Tues) Mandate, Ms Edge said the two parties had been in communication . .
