A long-running row about how planning permission was granted to a development in Ballasalla came to its conclusion this week.
In Tynwald, a select committee presented its report into the Poacher’s Pocket – recommending limiting the director of planning’s delegated powers.
The court voted unanimously to approve the changes, which means interested parties will now get more of a say in future planning disputes.
