QEII student Ellie Reynolds's poetry praised by judges
The newly-crowned Manx Youth Bard says she started writing poetry two years ago as a 'healthy outlet'.
Ellie Reynolds, a student at QEII High School in Peel, is said to have 'captivated the judges' with her 'powerful' writing.
Inaugurated at Douglas City Library, Ellie becomes the seventh Manx Youth Bard to be chosen since the initiative was launched in 2019 - taking over from outgoing bard Nehall Kilari.
