Owner fled scene say officers
Police in Peel are investigating a claim that a dog bit a person yesterday on the coastal path opposite Ballagyr Farm.
The dog owner, a female believed to be in her early twenties, allegedly refused to give any details to the victim and would not wait for police to attend.
She was also in charge of two other dogs, with all three leads attached to her belt.
The offending dog's been described as a light brown collie type, with the other two pets wearing muzzles.
Police are appealing for the owner of these dogs to come forward, or for anyone with information to contact PC Stokes on 842208
