**UPDATE: The male has since been found**
Police are appealing for help locating a male who has been sleeping in the Abbeylands area.
The man - aged between 40-50 - is believed to have been given shelter over the Christmas period, after he was found sleeping in a shop doorway on Prospect Terrace.
The man - who has a beard - is not in any trouble.
However, authorities want to ensure his welfare, given poor weather conditions.
