Officers believe children are likely to be behind incidents
Police in the south of the Island are investigating following a series of fires in Castletown.
Officers from the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team confirmed there have been four instances of vandalism in the town since 20 March including small fires, and warns that this type of incident can result in harm and serious damage.
Officers say they remain open minded, but believe a child or children are likely to be behind the incidents, and are appealing for parents to be aware of their children's whereabouts and challenge them if they smell of smoke.
Anyone with information on these incidents can contact police in the south on 822222.
