The incident is believed to have happened at 4am on 10 August
Police have issued an appeal for information after what's being described as an 'altercation' which involved a number of men.
It's believed to have happened at around 4am yesterday (10 August), and was the cause of the road closure on Market Street in Douglas.
The area was cordoned off with white police tape with police vans blocking access to the road until it was re-opened at 1.20pm.
Investigations are continuing, but witnesses are asked to contact headquarters on 631 212.
