
The UK government may be looking at cutting the amount of CCTV cameras across the water, but they're very much here to stay on the Isle of Man
Speaking on Talking Heads on Manx Radio today, Inspector Ken Kneale said CCTV has become a vital part of the police's armoury, particularly as the technology available continues to improve, giving much greater picture clarity.
He says it also significantly reduces the number of hours spent on cases:
