Thief may have replaced item
A child's Christmas present which was stolen from a Douglas home three weeks ago has been recovered without incident.
Police say the electric scooter, which was taken from a property on Anagh Coar Road on 30 November, was returned to its rightful owners earlier.
Officers believe whoever took it may have 'seen the error of their ways' and is now 'off the naughty list' in time for Christmas.
They add it's another 'bit of good news' - and stories like this never fail to cheer them up.
