Number of people defied the Mountain Road system this year
Police say they'll be looking carefully at how to stop people driving the wrong way over the Mountain during TT.
The Island's chief constable says it was a particular problem this year, as people defied the one-way system on the Mountain Road.
For the whole of the TT period, the Department of Infrastructure has for some years up signs and forced people to travel from Ramsey towards Douglas in a bid to cut head-on collissions.
Chief Constable Gary Roberts says in the wake of a spate of such incidents, officers are already considering their approach during next year's festival:

Garff Commissioners hosting offshore windfarm drop in session today
Public invited to suggest new brownfield site for potential re-development
Anthony Allen re-elected as chair at Onchan Commissioners
Police urge public to check person's identification if claiming to be a police officer
