There'll be an increased police presence in the area throughout the day
Police have been dealing with an incident on Palace Road in Douglas overnight.
The road was closed for two hours and the public were asked to keep away from the area.
Officers say the incident has now been brought to a safe resolution, but there will still be a police presence in the area throughout the day.
There is said to be no wider risk to the public at this time.
