Officers encourage those who fail to stop to 'pop-in'
Police are warning motorists, after a number of vehicles were seized this morning.
Officers shared photographs of a black BMW car, and a Honda motorcycle, which both failed to stop in separate incidents earlier in the week.
Vehicles can be towed for a number of reasons, including being found parked up without road tax - if this happens the driver is liable for all costs.
Failing to stop carries a maximum fine of £5,000, depending on the offence.
The drivers have been encouraged to 'pop in' to police headquarters.
