A 14-year-old girl has been bitten by a Rottweiler while jogging at Governor’s Hill in Douglas.
Police are appealing for the owners of the black and brown dog to come forward.
The dog was being walked by a man and a woman in their mid-twenties at the time and was on lead being held by the man.
The girl was left with a large bruise and puncture wounds to her forearm, and was shaken by the incident.
Anybody who can help the investigation is asked to ring Police Headquarters on 631212.
