Police in the south of the Island are investigating after obscene graffitti was daubed on Hango Hill.
The damage was discovered on Christmas Eve and the blue paint and phallic symbols were also found on the road nearby, and in the grounds of King William's College.
Officers say there is nothing to indicate the 'childish damage' is anything other than opportunistic vandalism and they are currently keeping an open mind as to who was responsible.
They are appealing for information, and would particularly like to hear about anybody who has been seen with blue paint on their hands, or from anyone who has discovered a tin of blue spray paint has gone missing.
If you can help you are asked to ring Police Headquarters on 631212 or Constable Mark Langley on 822222.
