Sidecar driver César Chanal killed at Ago's Leap
Police are investigating a racing incident in which sidecar driver César Chanal was killed.
Yesterday TT organisers confirmed the Frenchman had died in the crash on Saturday, at Ago's Leap, and not his passenger Olivier Lavorel after a case of 'mistaken identification'.
Lavorel remains in a critical condition at Aintree University Hospital.
The Isle of Man Constabulary has told Manx Radio the race incident is now under the coronial process.
It means officers are investigating the events leading up to it, the incident itself and the aftermath on behalf of the Coroner of Inquests.
