Revellers heading to Mannifest this weekend are being urged to enjoy themselves, in a responsible way.
The festival, being held at Glen Lough campsite outside Douglas, has attracted thousands of people and got under way at lunchtime today.
Police say they will be present, along with sniffer dogs, and are warning people not to take illegal drugs onto the site.
They are also issuing a plea for festival goers to drink sensible amounts.
Motorists are being reminded a temporary 30 miles an hour speed limit has been put in place outside the campsite, similar to the arrangement during the TT period.
Drivers are being asked to take extra care in the area as there will be a lot more traffic about than usual.
