Police training on the Isle of Man in child sexual exploitation cases is one of the most comprehensive in the British Isles.
That's why the Isle of Man Constabulary is part of a UK research project into how training can be most effective among constables, sergeants, and specials.
The latter attended a course led by Detective Inspector Michelle McKillop this week, as part of a programme to develop and invest in officers.
This type of crime is no stranger to the Isle of Man.
