Sixteen wake up behind bars
Sixteen people are waking up in the cells this morning.
Police say most are drink-related, including two detained for suspected drink-driving.
One arrest was made after an alleged assault at the 1886 club in Douglas in what police are describing as "an active investigation".
There's an appeal to avoid speculation or comment on social media.
The latest update also confirms a collision at York Road traffic lights in Douglas between a car and a police vehicle on an emergency call.
There were no injuries.
Police say several investigations are underway and updates will be given in due course.
