Police have named the man who died in an accident on a building site in Kirk Michael yesterday.
55 year old Gareth Sowden from Douglas was working for a contractor on a Water and Sewerage Authority project in Balleira Road.
Emergency services were called to the building site shortly after 11.30 yesterday morning.
An investigation is being spearheaded by the Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate.
