An inspector in the Isle of Man Constabulary has praised the 'unsung heroes' after a busy night for all services responding to adverse weather conditions.
Teams were called out to a wide range of incidents, included damage to a telegraph pole in Baldrine, a traffic collision and fallen trees.
A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping remains in force until 4pm.
