"Ruthless" sex predator jailed
Police have praised the bravery of victims in coming forward to give evidence against a man described as a ruthless sexual predator.
Today, Deemster Cross jailed Peter Kewley of Douglas for ten and a half years.
68 year old Kewley was convicted of eight indecent assaults on children between 1979 and 2014.
Acting Seargeant Nick Haxby described the investigation as difficult and distressing for those involved – and said the conviction would hopefully bring some closure to them.
