New officers experiencing first TT have 'adapted well'
The constabulary is fully-prepared to handle the increase in numbers of people coming to the Island for TT race week.
Thousands more fans were expected to arrive over the long weekend for what is usually the busiest few days of the racing fortnight.
Sergeant Andrew Reed says they have the maximum amount of officers available from the start of practice week.
He adds newer officers involved this year who won't have experienced the TT before have adapted to the experience:
CoMin making 'significant and determined efforts' to implement recommendations from Ranson review
Rain events 'difficult to forecast' on the Isle of Man
Planning permission granted for 26 industrial units
Port St Mary Commissioners urging residents not to 'struggle in silence'
