Popular TT route shows adherence to speed limits
Speed-recording on a popular village route with TT motorcyclists shows a high police presence there works to deter dangerous driving.
Average speeds in Glen Mona were calculated by Garff Commissioners during TT week - seeing people stick to the 30 mile per hour limit.
Vehicles averaged at 30.11 miles per hour over the course of the week - with the highest pace recorded at 30.59 mph.
Manx Radio asked inspector Gavin Callow if research like this helps police determine where officers are needed:
