
Police are investigating a fight in Laxey on Saturday night which left a man needing hospital treatment
They say it involved a number of men and women, and happened at around 11pm on New Road, near the Snaefell Mountain Railway crossing.
The injured man spent the night in Noble's Hospital after sustaining injuries to his head and upper body.
He was discharged the following day and is said to be making a good recovery.
Police are particularly keen to speak to a driver who had to stop as the incident spilled out onto the road.
