Police are investigating after a fight between four teenage boys left one in hospital this week.
The incident happened in a field off St Ninians Road in Douglas at about 3.45pm on Wednesday when a group of boys – who are all said to know each other – began fighting.
A 16 year old received serious, although not life-threatening injuries, but has since left hospital.
Police are asking a group of other young people who saw the fight to come forward, as well as an older man, who intervened to stop the incident and any parents who may have been in the area at the time or collecting children from school nearby.
Two teenage boys have been arrested and bailed without charge pending further enquiries.
